A Florida man allegedly abruptly disrupted the start of a morning church service when he reportedly slammed his car through the doors and set the foyer ablaze using an accelerant.

Near 7:00 am last Saturday, worshippers at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala were getting ready for the morning mass to begin when they were reportedly halted by a potentially dangerous incident.

A van reportedly smashed through the doors of the church and came to a halt, before the driver allegedly emerged from the vehicle and began to splash gasoline around the foyer of the house of worship.

A man allegedly walked into the home of a family he didn’t know and threw their 7-year-old out of the house and down the steps as he reportedly tried to kidnap their children.

Near 7:00 am on June 22, a family learned that they had left their front door unlocked when an unknown man reportedly walked in and went to their 7-year-old daughter’s bedroom where she was asleep in her bed.

The suspect reportedly tried to tell the child to get up and follow him, but she remained in her bed and would not do as he asked.

Spanish Fork, Utah resident Nakoda Stan Millet was accused of illegally entering the vehicle of a Chick-Fil-A worker while she was working her shift on June 8.

The girlfriend of a convicted felon in Jurupa Valley was allegedly kidnapped by her boyfriend and held captive for almost a week.

On the morning of January 25, 46-year-old Robert Stephen Lopez Jr. reportedly showed up at his girlfriend’s home in Jurupa Valley, allegedly without an invitation.

When Lopez arrived at the dwelling he allegedly strong-armed his way inside and grabbed the woman. The suspect, who was reported as being significantly larger in stature than his girlfriend, allegedly violently forced her to accompany him out of her home although she was reportedly unwilling and resistant.

A Florida man was apprehended after he allegedly disrupted an in-flight Sheriff’s Office helicopter pilot’s vision when he reportedly pointed an AR-15 with a laser at the aircraft.

On January 18, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office was using one of their helicopters to assist with a reported burglary in the area.

The helicopter had already ascended when the pilot noticed a light that appeared to be from a laser shining into the cabin of the aircraft, and his visibility was affected by the pointed beam.

An ex-Wisconsin deputy has been accused of combing through the obituaries in an alleged attempt to locate homes she reportedly intended to burglarize while the residents were attending funerals for their loved ones.

29-year-old Janelle Gericke worked as a deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office for a period of 15-months beginning in February 2016 before she was reportedly fired from her position.

In 2018, between February and June, at least seven residences were allegedly chosen by Gericke with the intention of burglarizing them during times she believed that the inhabitants would not be home.
