A high school band director has been accused of possessing videos and other materials allegedly showing evidence that he was sexually interacting with a former student.

47-year-old Christopher Michael Blackmer has worked with the students at Winter Park High School as the director of the band for the past 6 years.

At the end of January, the authorities were allegedly presented information from an unnamed source claiming that Blackmer was in possession of images and video of an underage boy. The report also alleged that Blackmer recently shared the pictures with a current student attending Winter Park High.

In the process of retrieving it, a man allegedly set fire to his automobile when he reportedly began to throw several Molotov cocktails at it while it was locked inside of a lot after being impounded.

Last weekend at the Almake Auto Shop in Orange County, Florida, the owner of a vehicle that was in impound had paid the owner of the lot nearly $300.00 in order to re-obtain possession of it.

After setting up a plan to meet at the impound yard in a half an hour, the owner showed up and reported that the client, 27-year-old Ayub Mule Abdulrahman, was nowhere to be seen so he left.

A man who is suspected of trying to get young girls to enter his vehicle was taken into custody after forcing the authorities to pursue him.

Around 4:00 pm on Friday, Garden Grove police were responding to reports of a man who was allegedly trying to convince young women that they should get into his vehicle.

When the officers came upon the vehicle that was described and tried to pull the driver over he reportedly did not stop for them, though he was reported as obeying the traffic lights during the chase.

During an undercover investigation, the authorities have come to suspect a citizen of Orange County of attempting to partake in acts of human trafficking with two girls that the man believed were teenagers.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department, while conducting an investigation, made a mock Facebook account that appeared as if it was the profile of a 16-year-old girl.

On October 19, someone online who appeared to be a man messaged the fake account. A conversation began leading to an alleged offer for the imposter teenager to work in the sex trade with the man serving as her pimp. The investigator reportedly played along and said that she had a friend who was 15 and that they were both working as prostitutes with a current pimp.

An Irvine man has been accused of entering two hospitals on several different occasions over a six-week period where he allegedly pretended that he was a physician.

Starting at the end of April and extending to the beginning of May, the University of California Irvine Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital of Orange County reported that a man had entered their facilities and claimed that he was a doctor working on the premises eight times, and had issued a diagnosis to a patient at the university on one occasion.

The man allegedly told the university that he was a doctor but that he had misplaced his identification badge. The suspect also reportedly asked them to call the Children’s Hospital, with whom they are affiliated, in order to vouch for him and grant him access to their facility as well.

An off-duty Orange County police officer who was accused of driving under the influence in May after he was allegedly discovered asleep at the wheel on the freeway attended his arraignment on Monday.

32-year-old Jared Russell Doyle, an officer with the Garden Grove Police Department, was reportedly driving down the 55 Freeway on the morning of May 27 and his vehicle, which failed to remain in one designated lane, stopped in the middle of the road.

Doyle, who was off-duty at the time, had allegedly fallen asleep while driving which is what is suspected as the reason his car stopped short in traffic.

After a string of burglaries beginning in March took place while the alleged victims were at funerals the authorities believe they have located and arrested the man responsible for the break-ins.

On March 7 a West Los Angeles resident was attending a funeral during the time that their home was being burglarized. Though the man who allegedly committed the offense was seen while in the act of stealing from the home they were unable to positively identify him.

A second burglary took place in Los Angeles on March 11 just after 2:00 p.m. while the occupants were also at a funeral. A man approached the home and rang the doorbell which activated a home security camera located inside of it. The suspect was caught on video while at the door and when no one answered he reportedly went to the back door of the home and tried to enter, but he was unable to get inside. He allegedly returned to the front of the house and kicked open the garage door which had an entrance to the residence, but the alarm system in place deterred him from pursuing the event further. The man, whose Mercedes was seen parked in the driveway of the home, pulled away but not before a detailed description of his automobile was uncovered.

A former Orange County professor is facing charges after police identified him as the alleged perpetrator of two separate incidents last year when women reported to authorities that a man in his vehicle had called them over and pulled down his pants.

Late in the afternoon on September 15, 2017, a 34-year-old woman was strolling down the street in Cerritos when a man driving a white SUV stopped in front of her and beckoned her for directions. As she advanced toward the vehicle she saw that the man had his penis out of his pants. She quickly walked off and called the police to report the incident.

Shortly after the first occurrence, a 19-year-old woman was walking down the street in Artesia when a man driving an SUV called her over to his vehicle. When the driver became visible to the woman she saw that he was in the act of masturbating, and she called the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station to alert them of what she had witnessed.

A school board member who alleges she has been pushed to the point of fearing for her personal safety has filed a petition for a permanent restraining order against the blogger who has spent the past few years posting negative and intimidating content against her on his website.

Gina Clayton-Tarvis, a 46-year-old Ocean View School District board member, has been the subject of much criticism about her political beliefs and actions expressed through displeased locals in the online social network communities since she was elected in 2012. Because of the perceived possible threat displayed in some of the online content, Huntington Beach police have occasionally attended the board meetings to be sure the environment remained safe.

Clayton-Tarvin tried to obtain a restraining order against an anti-immigration activist in 2017, but the court deemed that there was not enough evidence to grant her request.

An ex-insurance agent from San Clemente has been accused of using fraudulent practices to profit off of investments he made for at least six elderly clients in Southern California.

55-year-old Mark Malatesta, a man employed as a licensed insurance agent, was taken into custody on Monday after the California Department of Insurance detectives found what they believe is supporting evidence that he was taking part in a monetary ruse which cost his former clients over $1.6 million. The alleged victims were reported as senior citizens, who are said to be a target demographic of an increasing number of deceptions designed to cheat them out of their money, as reported by Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones.

Malatesta has been accused of a procedure called “churning,” wherein a broker who typically has permission to make independent determinations on how to invest money from the client’s account performs transactions “chiefly to generate commissions that benefit the broker,” as described by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
