A Florida man who was in the midst of being detained for alleged assault trapped himself inside his residence for several hours when police tried to arrest him, but he reportedly became cooperative when they offered him a piece of pizza.

On the morning of February 26, the grandmother of Evan Charles McLemore called the authorities reporting that he had assaulted her and then locked himself in his room claiming he had a gun to his head.

Officers that specialize in crisis negotiation arrived at the home and McLemore allegedly kept them at bay while he remained secured inside the residence for a total of four hours.

A woman who is suspected of disorderly conduct for allegedly becoming intoxicated and snagging a live lobster on her way out the door of a restaurant is being pursued by the authorities after she reportedly failed to appear for a scheduled hearing regarding the allegations.

Last November, 42-year-old Kimberly Gabel was at a local Red Lobster restaurant early in the afternoon when she allegedly became rather drunk and was reportedly annoying the other patrons.

When the manager told Gabel that she would have to leave she allegedly began yelling at him and using obscene language before heading toward the door. Just as she was about to make her departure from the building Gabel allegedly stuck her hand inside of one of the live lobster tanks, snatched one of the shelled critters, and exiting the establishment with it.

At the beginning of February, a man who bears the same name as a popular classic Fats Domino song was accused by the authorities of allegedly carrying methamphetamine inside his vehicle.

On February 3, a Cullman, Alabama, a man was reportedly driving in Fayette when he was pulled over by a deputy who was performing a traffic stop.

When the deputy confronted the driver of the vehicle, he identified him as 19-year-old Blue Berry Hill. During the interaction the deputy allegedly found meth and paraphernalia on Hill, giving him probable cause to obtain a warrant for his arrest.

A man who is suspected of trying to get young girls to enter his vehicle was taken into custody after forcing the authorities to pursue him.

Around 4:00 pm on Friday, Garden Grove police were responding to reports of a man who was allegedly trying to convince young women that they should get into his vehicle.

When the officers came upon the vehicle that was described and tried to pull the driver over he reportedly did not stop for them, though he was reported as obeying the traffic lights during the chase.

A Florida man who is widely known as The Joker was taken into custody on the suspicion that he violated the conditions of his bail by possessing a weapon.

30-year-old Lawrence Sullivan is a tattoo model and aspiring actor who has several inked images, many of which are upon his face and resemble the DC comic villain The Joker.

Sullivan, who became notorious for a mugshot that circulated the internet last year due to likeness to the character once formerly played by Heath Ledger, was dubbed The Joker by the online community. He reportedly has an Instagram page with over 120,000 followers.

When police arrived at a woman’s residence to take her into custody on a warrant for drug charges she allegedly tried to hide from them, and when a K9 officer sniffed her out she reportedly stabbed him under both eyes with a makeup tool.

Officers from the Baytown Police Department went to the trailer where 23-year-old Abigail Martinez resides on the afternoon of July 30 because she had a felony warrant for charges of drug possession.

People were standing outside of the trailer and the officers asked them if they knew where Martinez was. They reported that they believed she was inside the trailer, and when the officers heard noises coming from inside they tried to find out if Martinez was present. They tried to call her outside but they reportedly did not hear any response after several tries so they entered through the unlocked door.

After a Wisconsin woman notified the police and told them that her husband had been holding her hostage and subjecting her to different forms of physical violence, the authorities arrested the suspect in a cornfield the following evening.

Bartholomew Baumann, a 29-year-old married man from Beloit, Wisconsin, reportedly held his wife captive on Tuesday night and has been accused of hitting her repeatedly in the face, choking her, and dragging her around by her hair before eventually leaving the home.

Baumann’s wife reported the alleged incident to the police the following day and it was determined that Baumann would be taken into custody for the accusations.

A city councilwoman of a small town in Kansas is facing charges after an incident following her arrest where she has been accused of biting a police officer on his thumb so hard that it broke the bone.

Late in the morning on June 29, officers arrived at the home of Carol Fowler, a 48-year-old woman from Huron, Kansas, who works on the city council for the location that serves as home to 73 residents. She was being apprehended due to an outstanding warrant issued for failing to appear at a scheduled court date for charges she incurred in December.

Fowler allegedly was not compliant with the officers when they tried to arrest her, and she was reported as having kicked and scratched at them until a stun gun was eventually deployed in an attempt to subdue her. Neither of the deputies reported any significant injuries to them during the encounter, and she was taken to the Atchison county jail.

After a van carrying 14 show dogs was hijacked from outside of a fast food restaurant in June, one of the two men who is being accused of the theft has been arrested and he is facing several charges for the allegations.

Tony Carter was driving a Dodge cargo van on June 6, holding 14 show dogs from Washington that he was taking to Vallejo for a competition. Carter, who also served as the dogs’ trainer, had the canines crated in the van for the trip.

When Carter took a short break to grab food from an In-n-Out off of a freeway exit in Redding, he left the vehicle on so that he could continue to keep the inside cool with the air conditioning. He left the van unlocked and ran inside for his lunch and when he exited the restaurant about four minutes later, he found that the van holding the dogs was no longer where he left it.

A well-known business owner and member of the Cherryville, Florida, community is facing charges for allegedly using a hidden camera to capture videos of girls, some of which were underage, without their knowledge while they were showering on his yacht.

Richard Hilliard Jr. is a 49-year-old man who is a member of the family that owns a foam molding company called Modern Polymers. He and his family are known throughout their community due to the popularity of their business.

Hilliard is the proprietor of a person yacht which he named “Yacht’s O’ Trouble,” and he extended an invitation to eight young women, one of which was his former babysitter, to join him on the vessel for an excursion. He also recruited the mother of his ex-babysitter as a chaperone for the three underage girls and five young women he planned to entertain.
