A woman suspected of driving under the influence allegedly threatened to rape and kill the officers involved in her arrest.

On October 21, 30-year-old Sarah Jane Doughty was reportedly drinking alcoholic beverages in a Salt Lake County bar.

When the woman wanted to leave the establishment it was reported that more than one person tried to intervene and stop her from driving her vehicle.

A man being apprehended for allegedly driving under the influence has been accused of attempting to bribe several officers involved in his arrest.

Very early in the morning on October 15, an officer reportedly watched as a truck with Georgia-issued license plates was allegedly weaving down the road and failing to stay in one lane.

The officer pulled over the vehicle and spoke with the driver, identified as Fruitland Park resident Amado Cordova Izaguirre.

A Florida man who shares the name of the iconic Samuel L. Jackson allegedly threatened to shoot an officer involved in his arrest after he was in a car wreck, presumably caused by his driving under the influence.

In the evening on October 11, the Palm Bay police were alerted about an accident involving more than one vehicle and resulting in injuries.

When they dispatched to the scene one of the drivers, identified as 43-year-old Samuel L. Jackson, allegedly appeared as if he had been drinking when the police spoke with him. They reported that the man, who is not related to the actor, had an alcohol odor emanating off of his person, and his eyes were rather reddened.

A New Jersey man was allegedly driving an e-scooter and he is facing charges for allegations that he was navigating the electric vehicle while intoxicated.

In May, the city of Hoboken employed a 6-month program in order to see how beneficial it would be if electric scooters were readily available for people to rent as a mode of transportation. Their goal is to reduce traffic and give people an accessible and more environmentally friendly way to get around the city. The e-scooters have been issued an 18 MPH speed limit, and they are only permitted to be driven on the street and in bike lanes.

On Sunday afternoon, Hoboken officers reported that they spotted a man who was allegedly walking around in an off-balance manner, and they allegedly watched him proceed to unlock and climb on an e-scooter.

Though she was not intoxicated, a woman who was pulled over for traffic violations was placed under arrest for DUI when the officer interpreted her anxious demeanor as an indication that she was under the influence.

On July 22, 29-year-old Ariel Berry went out in her pajamas to pick up a quick late-night bite with her boyfriend when they were on the way to his residence.

As her boyfriend was giving her directions, Berry, who was driving, became confused causing her to break a few traffic laws.

The girlfriend of a man who was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence was also charged for DUI when she allegedly showed up at the police station while intoxicated.

Last Thursday, 30-year-old Kristen Lee-Ann Robbins learned that her boyfriend had been incarcerated at the Chambersburg Police Department for an alleged DUI offense.

The woman headed to the police station to pick up her companion, and when she entered the building it was reported that officers got the impression that Robbins had been drinking before she arrived.

An off-duty Memphis sergeant was accused of driving under the influence after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a structure outside of a liquor store.

62-year-old Sergeant Thomas Berryhill has worked with the Memphis Police Department for 26 years.

On Saturday afternoon, Berryhill was reportedly involved in a single-vehicle crash while he was off-duty involving his car and a column outside of a liquor store in East Memphis.

According to the attorney working for a Washington City Councilman who has been charged with his fourth DUI, the charge will be viewed as a first-time offense.

On Monday afternoon, 42-year-old Matthew Staniszewski, a Washington City Councilman, was allegedly found behind the wheel of his Honda that was reportedly idle and askew on the side of the road in a position that was blocking oncoming traffic.

An officer approached the vehicle and reported that empty miniature bottles of liquor were laying on the floor of the car, and Staniszewski allegedly appeared rather disoriented.

A Sumpter County woman accused of driving under the influence of alcohol allegedly tried to get an officer to place a 25-cent bet on the elevated the level her breathalyzer test would display after she blew into the machine.

On August 19, 62-year-old Mary Westerlund was reportedly sitting in her vehicle near her residence in The Villages retirement community in central Florida.

A passerby spotted the woman in her Acura and they thought she appeared to be intoxicated. The Sumpter County police were notified to report the incident.

When the mayor of Richland was pulled over and suspected of driving under the influence he reportedly claimed his blood-alcohol level was elevated due to dehydration.

63-year-old Bob Thompson is the mayor of Richland, Washington, and he has been a member of the Richland City Council for 25-years. He has also been employed as a criminal defense attorney for over 36-years.

On Saturday, just before midnight, Thompson was reportedly spotted driving his BMW down a portion of Parkway with a curve in the road. He allegedly navigated out of his lane for a moment before righting his vehicle while going 12 miles over the posted speed limit.
