A 7-year-old boy was found by himself at Union Station on the 4th of July after his mother allegedly abandoned him for nearly 24 hours. The child was not verbally responsive when the authorities tried to talk with him which led them to believe he might be deaf or have a developmental disability.

Employees at Union Station reported that they saw a woman and the child sitting together while having a meal, and the boy came into the kitchen area of the café unattended. When they searched for the woman that was with him, who was later suspected to be his mother, they were not able to locate her so they alerted the authorities.

The boy was believed to have a developmental or medical problem because he was not verbally expressive when the officers tried to ask him questions about why he was alone, and the Los Angeles Police Department Transit Services Division released the youngster into the custody of the LA County Department of Children and Family Services. Members of the child’s family were located the following day and they are now providing care for him in his mother’s absence.

An Orange County psychiatrist who has been suspected of authorizing prescriptions for narcotics to people who were allegedly not in need of them for health reasons has declared that he is innocent of the charges.

Westminster resident Dr. Robert Tinoco Perez is a 57-year-old psychiatrist with a practice that operates out of an office in Santa Ana.

After an investigation by the DEA and the Costa Mesa Police Department, Perez has been accused of using his the office that works out of as a way to profit off of selling prescriptions for opioids, amphetamines, and benzodiazepines.

A woman who was unhappy with her order at a Chinese restaurant has been charged for allegations that she was the cause of a fight with the owner of the establishment which resulted in the man losing a piece of his ear when he was bitten during the incident.

On Thursday evening a customer left her child at home so that she could return to the China 1 restaurant in Mount Clemons, Michigan because she was dissatisfied that the order she received was not what she expected.

The upset woman, identified as 24-year-old Jade Anderson, spoke with the owners of the restaurant about the problem she had with her food order, but they do not speak fluent English. The owners’ son, who was also present at the restaurant during Anderson’s visit, attempted to intervene and help his parents understand what the customer was trying to convey to them. Anderson reportedly became frustrated with the encounter and threw the food on the floor after shoving him.

Wildwood, Florida, resident Carolyn Roach Doggett, a woman who works as a first-grade elementary school teacher, was accused of driving under the influence of alcohol on Monday while she was in the vicinity of a local charter school.

On the afternoon of July 2, after the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office was notified with information about a possible reckless driver they dispatched to the reported area that the vehicle was seen, which was within half a mile of The Villages Charter School.

Officers encountered the sports utility vehicle that they suspected was the motorist they received the call about and they reported that the turn signal remained in the on position the entire time they were in pursuit and that the SUV was allegedly weaving erratically enough that several accidents were narrowly avoided.

39-year-old Ali Borji worked as a professor at the University of Central Florida when he dated a student for a short time and allegedly proceeded to stalk her long after their relationship ceased.

Borji, who was an instructor of computer science at UCF, connected with a woman through the use of the dating site eHarmony. After they met in person last June, Borji began to engage in a relationship with the woman, who was pursuing her Ph.D. at the university.

The woman decided to break off the coupling not long after they began dating, but Borji allegedly did not want to end it. She reportedly asked him to leave her alone but he would not comply, and he continued to pursue her and send her several text messages a day. In one 24-hour period, Borji allegedly sent 800 digital messages to the victim. He also expressed his desire to create an artificial intelligence replica of her.

A gun was fired in Indiana Park on Monday when two grandmothers got into an argument concerning visitation of their grandchild. Both of the women are facing charges and were taken into custody for the allegations.

On June 25, 45-year-old Cristy D. Horton and 47-year-old Tammy Brickles were at Riley Park with their grown children so that one of the women could collect her grandchild for a visit. They had met there after a day that was reportedly filled with disputes between the families because Horton wanted to take her grandson to a fair at the park, and she was told she could not.

The families met at the park just after 6:00 p.m. and the child was inside of one of the cars when the grandmothers reportedly began to argue regarding visitation, and the situation became intense very rapidly. Horton purportedly grabbed a gun, resulting in her son quickly trying to get involved and to take possession of the weapon. At one point during the scuffle, the gun was discharged.

After a van carrying 14 show dogs was hijacked from outside of a fast food restaurant in June, one of the two men who is being accused of the theft has been arrested and he is facing several charges for the allegations.

Tony Carter was driving a Dodge cargo van on June 6, holding 14 show dogs from Washington that he was taking to Vallejo for a competition. Carter, who also served as the dogs’ trainer, had the canines crated in the van for the trip.

When Carter took a short break to grab food from an In-n-Out off of a freeway exit in Redding, he left the vehicle on so that he could continue to keep the inside cool with the air conditioning. He left the van unlocked and ran inside for his lunch and when he exited the restaurant about four minutes later, he found that the van holding the dogs was no longer where he left it.

A Florida woman arrived at the local courthouse to fulfill her jury duty obligations when she was allegedly found carrying drugs and paraphernalia in her pocket leading to her arrest.

39-year-old Kristine Victoria Mittler was summoned to the West Pasco Judicial Center early in the afternoon on Monday to find out if she would be selected as a juror for an upcoming trial.

An x-ray machine that is viewed by security guards stands at the entrances of the courthouse building requiring that people going inside pass through the device for a safety screening. As Mittler walked through the archway of the metal detector the alarm activated due to two foil packets that were inside of her pocket.

On Sunday night a woman reportedly drove 19 miles reaching high speeds with her ex-boyfriend hanging onto the hood of the vehicle. She is facing charges for the allegations.

Around 10:00 p.m. on June 24, 24-year-old Patresha Isidore, and her ex-boyfriend, Junior Francis, who share a residence and a child was in the middle of an argument when Isidore decided that she wanted to leave and pick up their 5-year-old daughter from a family member with whom the child was visiting.

In an attempt to prevent Isidore from backing out of the driveway and departing in the blue Mercedes that she and Francis also co-own, he mounted the hood of the vehicle. Though Francis still had his body atop the front of the vehicle Isidore is accused of pulling out and driving off while knowing that Francis was still holding on.

The authorities have reported that a Montana woman has been accused of breaking into her ex-boyfriend’s place of residence with a machete. The suspect then made the man have sexual intercourse with her while she kept the weapon in her hand.

On June 22, around 11:00 pm, a man who had been away from his home arrived at the residence to find that his ex-girlfriend had allegedly broken in.

The reported victim stated that he entered his bedroom and the woman, identified as 19-year-old Samantha Mears, was hidden behind the door with a machete in her hand.
