A New Jersey contractor was accused of insurance fraud after a surveillance camera allegedly revealed that he had purposely faked it when he slipped on ice and fell on the ground before filing the claim.

57-year-old Alexander Goldinsky is an independent contractor who was recently hired to provide his services to a company in Woodbridge.

While on the job one afternoon the surveillance camera in the break area for the company’s employees reportedly caught footage of a man who is believed to be Goldinsky. He is seen holding a cup of ice that spills to the floor in what is suspected as a premeditated act before he dropped to the ground on his back and remaining there.

A woman who made the headlines after she was rescued from many years of torture and abuse as a young child has been accused of engaging in sexual encounters with a teenage girl.

The now-25-year-old Lauren Kavanaugh became known to many as “The Girl in the Closet” nearly two decades ago after it was discovered that she was living under a staircase and enduring several types of abuse at the hands of her parents, who were both sentenced to life in prison for the 6 years of mistreatment of the child.

Kavanaugh started a Facebook page to try to lend support to other people who had been through similar experiences and she reportedly made the acquaintance of a teenage girl through the page.

The police have arrested a suspect that they believe is responsible for stealing packages off of the front doorstep of a home, and one of the packages reportedly contained medical testing supplies to help in locating a kidney donor for a woman in need of a transplant.

A woman who was told that she was suffering from a medical condition that would require a kidney transplant was in the process of learning if one of her cousins might be a match for the surgical procedure.

The testing supplies needed in order to determine if the woman’s cousin was a viable option for the donation were sent to the man’s Green Township home, where the package was left on the front porch between the screen and entry door.

A woman inside a New York nightclub is facing charges after allegedly causing a security guard to lose consciousness by strangling him when she believed he grabbed her buttocks.

On October 20th at the Five1Eight nightclub, 22-year-old Kierah Lagrave was hanging out with her friends when she felt someone grab her rear end while her back was turned.

Lagrave, who is also an employee of the club, was reportedly seen on surveillance video as she turned around and placed her hands around a nearby bouncer’s neck and pulled him backward until he fell to the ground and allegedly lost consciousness.

During an undercover investigation, the authorities have come to suspect a citizen of Orange County of attempting to partake in acts of human trafficking with two girls that the man believed were teenagers.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department, while conducting an investigation, made a mock Facebook account that appeared as if it was the profile of a 16-year-old girl.

On October 19, someone online who appeared to be a man messaged the fake account. A conversation began leading to an alleged offer for the imposter teenager to work in the sex trade with the man serving as her pimp. The investigator reportedly played along and said that she had a friend who was 15 and that they were both working as prostitutes with a current pimp.

On Wednesday evening around 8:30 pm, a woman heard frantic knocking at her front door as well as the ringing of her doorbell several times in a period of just a few seconds.

When she responded and answered the door the woman saw a 2-year-old child standing unattended on her front porch with a couple of bags next to him. The woman alerted the authorities for assistance in the situation and the police and child protective services went to her home.

The woman who owns the home where the boy was left has a surveillance camera hidden inside of her doorbell and it recorded the events leading up to the toddler ending up alone on the doorstep.

The authorities have arrested a suspect that they believe used the printer at a library to create counterfeit money, and allege that it was crafted with the intention of selling on the internet.

When a landlady in New Port Richie was allegedly approached by one of her tenants, she claimed he told her that he used the printer at the New Port Richie Public Library to create fake money for the heck of it, and she purported that he had given her a couple of the counterfeit $5 bills. She additionally reported that she saw several sheets of paper on the man’s bedroom floor with printing that resembled legal tender.

The woman told her tenant that she would be notifying the police and he reportedly rushed to gather the alleged evidence and left the premises.

A video that made the rounds on Facebook depicting a toddler smoking what is assumed to be marijuana has resulted in her mother facing felony charges.

In a video reportedly recorded sometime between December 1 and January 31, a 1-year-old little girl is seen giggling and then what looks as if she has a small brown cigar held to her lips by an adult-sized hand. Smoke is then shown surrounding the baby’s head. The video was then uploaded to the popular social network Facebook.

The recording gained millions of views after it began circulating online, and police reported that many people notified them reporting what they had seen which prompted them to begin an investigation.

The mother of a 9-month-old boy has been accused of endangering her child when she allegedly failed to notice that the baby, who was in the car with her, had somehow exited the vehicle. The infant was discovered by people in the area who saw him crawling in the middle of a busy street without any supervision.

27-year-old Ledrika Ford and her son, accompanied by a family member whose identity has not been made public, were in a vehicle together with the baby buckled in one of the back seats. At an unknown time during their trip through Utica, NY, the child exited the vehicle without being noticed and began attempting to crawl across the street.

Passers-by spotted the infant on the road and stopped to assess the situation and assist the child. As some people attended to the crying child, several others tried to call 911 for emergency assistance.
