A Texas high school teacher is facing charges after the school board alleged she had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student.
Until recently, 32-year-old Katrina Maxwell was employed as a high school teacher at C.E. King High School in the Sheldon Independent School District.
Last October, Maxwell reportedly formed a close relationship with a 16-year-old student enrolled at the school.
Andrew Murphy has been a Connecticut State trooper with the State Police Department since the summer of 2019. He works with Troop A in Southbury.
Around 2:00 am on June 20, Murphy was reportedly in a parking lot in Bethel.

34-year-old Kanisha Booze resides in St. Petersburg, Florida, and she has three children. Booze is also employed at a local Taco Bell restaurant.
On June 18, just after 10:00 PM, Booze was reportedly under the influence of alcohol while on the Taco Bell premises with her vehicle.
55-year-old Victor Allen Jacobs resides in Moberly, Missouri.
According to court documents, Jacobs was convicted of rape in 2001, and when he was released from prison he was ordered to register as a sex offender.
A high school teacher in Oregon was arrested when he was accused of sexually violating another instructor who works at the educational institution.
56-year-old Matthew Lenoue is from Spokane, Washington, but he currently resides and works in Dallas, Oregon. He is employed by the Dallas School District as a special education teacher at Dallas High School.
On June 11, the Dallas Police Department was notified by the Dallas School District Administration. They reported a possible sexual assault incident between a male and female teacher that allegedly occurred on the high school campus prior to the start of the school day.
75-year-old Lauren Burch Birk lives in a condominium in Largo, Florida. In 2017, she was arrested and convicted for driving under the influence.
Just before Christmas in 2020, Birk was with her 3 great-grandchildren. The children informed Birk that they wanted to look at the Largo Central Park Christmas lights display.
A daycare worker who tends to children in her residence was arrested after a baby died while in her care, and the authorities suspect she has abused several other children.
53-year-old Dana McNair lives in an unincorporated area of El Paso County. Though she reportedly does not hold a state license, she provides childcare in her house for several youngsters. The children reportedly range in age from 3-months to 7-years-old.
In early February, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office was notified about an infant at McNair’s home who was unresponsive.
A woman in an alleged dispute with her roommates reportedly set the living room curtains on fire and walked out, leaving two females in the house who were unaware that she had done so.
30-year-old Bridget Avonelle Cozort is from Kopperston, West Virginia. She has recently been residing with two women in a home in Wyoming County.
On May 21, Cozort was reportedly told that she would need to find another place to live.
When a man who was thought to be driving under the influence was arrested, he allegedly pooped once in the car on the way to the jail, and two additional times in the booking room at the facility.
41-year-old Jason Shea is from Dracut, New Hampshire.
Just after 7:00 am on June 12, Shea was reportedly driving a white van near Benson Park in Hudson.
